Crop Production

Dry Farming

Grain Production

Certified seed production of the Tarm 92 barley variety, which is currently produced in the fallow grain system in an area of 9,500 decares in dry conditions, will be gradually replaced by barley production.

In addition, under the ecological realities of the enterprise, a vetch + barley mixture / barley rotation system will be used for the purpose of gradually producing quality forage.

Forage Crops Production

In order to meet the increasing need for quality forage and to improve the soil in the enterprise, sainfoins were established on an area of 2000 decares in dry conditions last year, 1700 decares of which are used for roughage and 300 decares for seed growing. Sainfoin production will be increased in the enterprise within a certain program.

Artificial Pasture

In business,  In order to make more efficient use of hitherto uncultured land and to reduce animal nutrition and feed inputs  In an area of 450 decares  Artificial pasture was established.

In particular, lambs and young cattle are healthier and live longer in these areas. It is planned to increase the artificial pasture areas to 800 decares by irrigating the pastures in the short term for their nutrition.

Irrigated agriculture

Silage Corn

With the widespread use of irrigated agriculture, corn silage, which is one of the most important inputs for breeding dairy cattle, is produced. An area of 2000 decares is reserved for silage corn production as first and second products.

To reduce costs and ecological risks in silage corn  Liquid animal fertilization and reduced/zero tillage efforts have been accelerated in order to reduce

Grain Production

In order to prevent one-way use of lands in irrigated agriculture and to meet the increasing grain needs of the enterprise, wheat production, primarily barley, was carried out in the area around 1750.Good results were obtained in the first attempt from the second crop soybean production following grain production, and this plant was found promising for crop rotation.

Clover

Alfalfa, another most important input for breeding dairy cattle  for  Currently, 750 decares of land is reserved for alfalfa production. In the short term, an alfalfa facility will be built in a new area of 500 decares.

Vetch/Barley Mixtures

In order to benefit more economically and ecologically from irrigated areas, an average of 1000 decares of land has been allocated to the production of crop (vetch + barley mixture) as the first crop in the crop rotation.

In the enterprise, a highly ecological and economical production product is produced with reduced soil tillage and liquid animal fertilization.

Fruit and Viticulture

To our farmers in every respect  İLCİ Çiçekdağı Agricultural Enterprise, which has adopted the principle of being an example, has established a total of 250 decares of orchard and vineyard, irrigated with a drip irrigation system, including 30 decares of vineyards, 95 decares of dwarf apples, 90 decares of walnuts and 35 decares of almonds, in order to diversify plant production.

In addition, in order to meet the urgent need for certified saplings of our farmers  As of 2009, a total of 8000 certified saplings of cherry, apple and almond species were sold.
